As a Senior Care Assistant at HC-One, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate care to residents in our care homes. Your primary focus will be on planning and delivering personalized care that ensures residents feel secure, dignified, and independent. You will lead a team of Care Assistants, setting high standards for care and positively influencing your colleagues.
Your responsibilities will include assisting the Registered Nurse and Care Manager in delivering essential physical and mental stimulation through various social and recreational activities. You will also be responsible for administering medication and maintaining accurate records of the care provided. Building strong relationships with residents and their families is crucial to ensure that care plans are tailored to individual needs.
Requirements
- Completion of a Level 2 Diploma S/NVQ in Adult Social Care is preferred, with a commitment to pursuing a Level 3 qualification or equivalent.
- Experience in person-centered care planning and knowledge of dementia care is beneficial.
- Strong record-keeping skills and effective time management are essential.
- A positive attitude and excellent interpersonal skills are necessary, with a focus on kindness in all interactions.
