Senior Care Assistant Overview

As a Senior Care Assistant at HC-One, you will be at the heart of delivering compassionate care to our residents. Your role will involve planning and implementing personalized care strategies that foster a sense of security, dignity, and independence among residents. You will lead a team of Care Assistants, ensuring that the highest standards of care are consistently met.

Your responsibilities will include assisting the Registered Nurse and Care Manager in providing essential physical and mental stimulation through various social and recreational activities. You will also administer medication and maintain accurate records of care provided, while building strong relationships with residents and their families.

To succeed in this role, you should ideally have completed a Level 2 Diploma S/NVQ in Adult Social Care and be willing to work towards a Level 3 qualification. Experience in person-centered care planning and knowledge of dementia care will be beneficial. A positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, and effective time management are essential for this position.

In return for your dedication, you will receive a competitive hourly wage ranging from £13.85 to £14.45, based on your experience and qualifications.
