Join G-Research as a Quant Research Intern in a dynamic 10-week summer program designed to immerse you in the world of quantitative finance. This internship offers a unique opportunity to work on challenging research projects that require innovative mathematical and computational analysis.

Throughout the internship, you will engage in a meaningful research project where you will apply rigorous scientific methodologies and robust statistical analysis to extract predictive signals from financial time-series data. Your work may involve implementing back-testing frameworks to ensure the reliability of these signals and creating simulations for portfolio performance based on various input signals.

As an intern, you will collaborate closely with a mentor who is an experienced Quantitative Researcher, receiving structured feedback and guidance to enhance your skills. At the end of the program, you will present your research findings to senior management, providing a platform to showcase your work.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong mathematical background, intermediate programming skills in languages such as Python or C#, and a keen interest in applying data science and machine learning techniques to real-world challenges. You should be in the final or penultimate year of a Master’s or PhD program in a technical or quantitative discipline, with a preference for candidates pursuing a PhD. While previous finance experience is not necessary, a genuine interest in the field is essential.
