The Google Cloud Platform team is dedicated to assisting customers in transforming their businesses through cloud technology. As a Partner Principal Architect, you will play a pivotal role in understanding customer needs and shaping the future of technology use across various business sizes.
This position serves as a hybrid technical and business advisory role, acting as a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) for priority Global Systems Integrators (GSIs). You will lead discussions, execute joint business plans, and combine technical goals with business insights. Reporting directly to the Head of Partner Architecture for GSIs and Strategic Partnerships in EMEA, you will work closely with the EMEA Partner Development Manager to articulate the value of technical solutions and engage in impactful initiatives across the region.
Responsibilities
- Build a trusted advisory relationship with priority GSIs in EMEA and engage with their EMEA CTOs, lead architects, and practice leads to secure multi-year technology bets with Google Cloud.
- Provide domain expertise around public cloud and enterprise technology, and effectively promote Google Cloud with partners, at conferences, and online.
- Make recommendations on integration strategies, partner-side enterprise architectures, platforms, and application infrastructure required to successfully implement a complete solution for complex GSI mega-agreements.
- Manage the holistic enterprise architecture relationship with GSI partners by collaborating with Google Cloud Platform CEs, PAs, product management, and technical teams to co-author massive, enterprise-grade replicable assets.
- Serve as the technical gatekeeper for the most strategic Gemini Enterprise AI funding.
- Travel to customer sites, conferences, and other related events as needed (can vary, on average ~50%).
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 10 years of experience as an enterprise architect or equivalent experience in a customer-facing role.
- Experience in cloud market insights and cloud computing across applications, infrastructure, storage, platforms, or data.
- Experience engaging with, and presenting to, technical stakeholders and executive leaders.
- Experience with modern artificial intelligence (AI) paradigms, generative AI, and data technologies, including experience reviewing technical solutions.
