We are seeking a skilled Senior ML Engineer to join our central AI engineering function in London. This role is pivotal in building and scaling enterprise-grade agentic AI capabilities within a global organization. The team is responsible for the core AI enablement platform that supports AI agents, orchestration workflows, knowledge retrieval, and secure tool integration at scale.
The environment is highly engineering-focused, blending platform thinking with practical AI delivery. As a Senior ML Engineer, you will be tasked with designing and constructing MCP servers, AI tools, orchestration skills, and secure API integrations that allow enterprise systems to be safely accessed by LLM-powered agents. Additionally, you will play a key role in agent planning, tool-calling frameworks, RAG architecture, and improving the developer experience for the internal adoption of AI platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop MCP servers and AI tools to enhance enterprise-grade agentic AI capabilities.
- Create orchestration skills and secure API integrations that allow safe access to enterprise systems for LLM-powered agents.
- Contribute to agent planning and tool-calling frameworks, as well as RAG architecture.
- Enhance the overall developer experience for internal AI platform adoption.
Requirements:
- Proficient in Python programming with substantial engineering experience.
- Familiarity with large language models (LLMs), AI agents, and agentic reasoning patterns.
- Experience in developing applications using FastAPI and REST APIs.
- Knowledge of RAG and prompt engineering techniques.
- Understanding of Kubernetes and containerization technologies.
- Exposure to MCP or similar AI tooling frameworks.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across platform and product engineering teams.
