Lead AI Engineer Overview

We are looking for a Lead AI Engineer who will be responsible for designing, building, and operationalizing advanced AI, Machine Learning, and Generative AI systems at an enterprise scale. This role focuses on bridging the gap between AI prototypes and the integration of data and AI solutions within business operations. The successful candidate will ensure that AI solutions are scaled responsibly and effectively, transitioning from lab environments to live applications while creating significant business value.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement end-to-end AI and machine learning systems, covering all stages from data preparation to model deployment and monitoring.
• Deliver solutions utilizing the latest Generative AI and Agentic Frameworks, including ADK, Langgraph, Microsoft Agent Framework, and Llamaindex.
• Translate AI use case requirements into effective data and AI architectures using appropriate cloud services from major providers.
• Lead cross-functional teams to fulfill complex project requirements.
• Architect and deploy Generative AI solutions, including RAG pipelines and workflows, across cloud platforms such as Azure, GCP, or AWS.
• Integrate safety, evaluation, and assurance mechanisms throughout the AI lifecycle to ensure ethical and responsible solutions.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Data Scientists, and business stakeholders to ensure AI solutions deliver tangible business value.
• Contribute to business development by creating client-ready demonstrations and supporting proposals.
• Develop reusable assets and frameworks to enhance delivery efficiency across projects.
• Engage in capability development through thought leadership and contributions to internal communities focused on emerging AI topics.

Qualifications

• Experience in a major consulting firm or industry, with a consulting mindset and ability to navigate a matrixed organization.
• Proven track record of collaborating with technical and non-technical client sponsors to design and implement solutions.
• Experience in developing and executing MLOps strategies and frameworks, with a history of delivering AI/ML solutions at scale.
• Strong understanding of Generative AI and Agentic AI, including RAG pipelines and orchestration frameworks.
• Experience in designing cloud-native data and AI architectures across platforms like Azure, GCP, AWS, or Databricks.
• Ability to demonstrate how scaling AI can unlock business value and impact.
