Identity & Access Management Workstream Lead IAM/IDAM Overview

We are seeking an experienced Identity & Access Management Workstream Lead (IAM/IDAM) to spearhead a significant cyber transformation initiative in London. This strategic role is crucial for defining the IDAM strategy and managing a diverse portfolio of initiatives aimed at safeguarding people, systems, and data through advanced identity practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the execution of a major cyber transformation program as the Identity & Access Management Workstream Lead.
• Define and implement the IDAM strategy while managing a portfolio of initiatives.
• Ensure the protection of people, systems, and data through modern identity practices.
• Oversee a team of project managers to deliver projects related to identity lifecycle management, privileged access, Identity Governance & Administration (IGA), multi-factor authentication (MFA), and single sign-on (SSO).
• Shape the organization’s next-generation identity security controls, enabling the safe adoption of emerging technologies like AI.
• Collaborate with Cyber Security, IT, HR, and business functions to ensure alignment and effective change management.
• Drive the transition from project delivery to business-as-usual operations, ensuring that systems and processes are sustainable and scalable.

Requirements

• Proven experience in delivering large-scale IDAM or security transformation programs.
• Strong understanding of identity principles, controls, and technologies.
• Excellent stakeholder management, leadership, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage complex, multi-project portfolios while balancing delivery, risk, and benefits realization.

Benefits

• Competitive daily rate of £700 – £725.
• Contract position for a duration of 6 months.
