We are seeking a Head of Mobile Engineering to lead and evolve our mobile capabilities in the UK. This senior role involves collaborating with clients and multidisciplinary teams to deliver outstanding digital experiences. The position combines technical leadership, consulting, and commercial impact, focusing on shaping mobile strategies and modernizing platforms across native and cross-platform ecosystems.

Role Overview

The Head of Mobile Engineering will work closely with teams of architects, engineers, strategists, designers, and consultants to define and deliver exceptional mobile experiences. This role entails both leadership and hands-on consulting, providing technical direction, advising on platform strategies, and supporting business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Client Delivery Leadership: Act as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders and oversee complex project deliveries.
• Capability Leadership: Define and advance Valtech’s mobile vision and strategy, managing line managers and ensuring effective performance management.
• Technical Leadership: Provide architectural oversight for mobile programs, championing modern engineering practices.
• Commercial Impact & Growth: Collaborate with UK Growth teams on pitches and identify opportunities for expanding client engagements.
