As a Graduate Data Analyst specializing in Data Modelling and Design at BAE Systems, you will play a crucial role in enhancing how critical business and technical data is structured and managed across various programs. This position is based in Warton/Samlesbury, Lancashire, and offers a competitive salary of £34,000 per annum, along with a £2,000 welcome bonus. You will be expected to work on-site 3-4 days a week, with the remainder of your time being flexible.

Core Responsibilities

• Support the design, documentation, and governance of conceptual, logical, and physical data models to ensure enterprise information is structured, consistent, and aligned with business requirements.
• Engage in hands-on data management and engineering tasks to validate designs within the local Data Warehousing estate.
• Create, update, and maintain information architecture objects, relationships, and repositories within BizzDesign, ensuring accuracy and alignment with standards.
• Contribute to the definition and application of information architecture principles, standards, and best practices.
• Develop strong working relationships across Air’s business functions, providing guidance on information architecture practices and effectively communicating designs to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must have obtained, or be predicted to obtain, at least a 2:2 Bachelor’s degree or a pass at Master’s level in relevant fields such as Physics, Maths, Systems Engineering, Computer Systems Engineering, or Computer Science. Additionally, applicants must meet the Baseline Personnel Security Standard and may require higher levels of National Security Vetting, necessitating 5 to 10 years of continuous residency in the UK.
