Join our vibrant veterinary practice in Banbury, Oxfordshire, where we are seeking an experienced Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to become part of our dedicated team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a supportive environment that encourages professional growth and development.
About the Practice
Our Banbury practice is well-established, featuring modern facilities designed to provide exceptional care for our patients. We have three spacious consulting rooms, a fully equipped in-house laboratory, digital CR radiography, state-of-the-art ultrasound, and a dedicated surgical theatre. Our practice is conveniently located on the Banbury Cross Retail Park, providing excellent transport links to major cities and beautiful countryside.
The Team
You will be joining a collaborative and enthusiastic team that values open communication and teamwork. Our experienced nursing staff runs various nurse-led clinics, and you will also receive support from a knowledgeable reception team, an experienced Practice Manager, and two trained Mental Health First Aiders.
The Role
We are looking for a confident veterinary surgeon with at least two years of UK small animal experience. You will manage a diverse caseload, enjoy 15-minute consultations, and have the opportunity to pursue your clinical interests. Regular clinical meetings will allow you to share ideas and enhance patient care.
Working Pattern
This position requires a commitment of 30 to 40 hours per week, with one Saturday in four. There are no out-of-hours responsibilities, and we are open to flexible working arrangements.
