An experienced End User Device Engineer is sought to join a busy ICT environment in Kidlington, Oxfordshire. This role involves providing high-quality end user support while ensuring that services are maintained according to agreed service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Key Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on support across end user devices, working closely with ICT teams, business users, and third-party suppliers to minimize disruption and maintain a strong user experience.
- Deliver 2nd line end user device support, resolving incidents, requests, and problems within agreed SLAs.
- Support Windows 10 devices, including laptops, desktops, and smartphones.
- Identify trends and recurring issues, escalating where required.
- Assist with moves, projects, events, and technology refresh activities.
- Maintain and update documentation and knowledge articles.
- Follow asset management and ICT governance processes.
- Identify and suggest service improvements.
Required Skills and Experience
- Experience in ICT operational or end user device support roles.
- Strong Windows 10, desktop, laptop, and mobile device support experience.
- Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
- Customer-focused approach with strong communication skills.
- Ability to work across multiple locations.
- Full UK driving licence.
Desirable Skills
- ITIL v3 or ITIL v4 certification.
- Experience using ServiceNow.
