WPP is seeking an Enterprise Architect for the Modern Workplace to join their team in London, United Kingdom. This role is integral to WPP’s mission of providing technology services to the world’s largest communications services group, enabling clients to transform their future through innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and manage the target architecture for the entire Modern Workplace estate, covering Identity, Client Devices, Productivity Tools, and Office Technology.
• Establish architecture principles, standards, reference patterns, and technology roadmaps across different towers.
• Serve as the design authority for significant workplace changes that span multiple towers.
• Architect the integration of identity-led security, devices, collaboration tools, and meeting-room services into a cohesive employee experience.
• Incorporate security-by-design, zero-trust principles, resilience, accessibility, data protection, and total cost of ownership into all domains.
• Ensure that designs and changes delivered by Kyndryl align with WPP’s architecture and standards across all four towers.
• Oversee the workplace technology strategy, including decisions on build versus buy and scouting for emerging capabilities, such as AI in the workplace.
• Advise the Modern Workplace Director and tower heads, ensuring alignment of architecture with WPP’s business and agency priorities.
• Set the architecture, patterns, and guidelines for Kyndryl’s implementation and operations.
• Act as the design authority and approval gate for architectural decisions made by partners.

Qualifications

• Experience in enterprise architecture covering the entire digital workplace estate, including identity, devices, collaboration, productivity, and office technologies.
• Demonstrated leadership in cross-domain architecture for a global-scale workplace estate.
• Practical application of architecture frameworks and modeling, such as TOGAF.
• Expertise in security-by-design, zero-trust, and data protection architecture for workplace environments.
• Knowledge of integration and platform architecture across cloud services (e.g., Microsoft 365, Google Workspace), endpoints, and identity ecosystems.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to influence engineering, vendor, and executive stakeholders.
• Recognized experience in architecture at an enterprise scale within the relevant domain.
• Possession of relevant architecture or platform certifications, such as TOGAF or equivalent vendor architect tracks.
• A degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.
• Ability to design for security, scalability, resilience, and total cost of ownership.
