The 2027 Summer Internship Program at BlackRock is an immersive eight-week experience designed to provide students with a meaningful and challenging introduction to the financial industry. This program runs from June to August and aims to closely replicate the responsibilities and experiences of a full-time BlackRock Analyst.
Interns will start with an orientation that includes a comprehensive overview of the firm and insights from senior leaders. Following this, participants will engage in on-the-job training and will be assigned daily responsibilities that contribute to their respective teams throughout the summer. The program also features a speaker series, mentoring opportunities, and various networking events, including activities with employee networks.
To be eligible for this internship, candidates must be in their penultimate year of study and expected to graduate from an undergraduate or master’s degree program in 2028. We welcome applications from students across all degree disciplines. It is important to note that local language fluency is required for positions in Continental Europe, while only English is necessary for roles in Budapest or Private Markets Investing in Zurich.
Applicants should be aware that they can only submit an application for one program (e.g., Summer Internship Program or Quantitative Masterâs Internship Program) and may apply for up to two functions within that program. If an application is withdrawn, candidates will not be able to submit another application for this program in the same year.
Once applications are submitted, candidates will receive an email to complete a pre-interview assessment, which must be submitted within five days to avoid automatic withdrawal of the application.
Application deadlines vary by location, with key dates including:
- London, Paris, Zurich â 30 September 2026
- Edinburgh, Milan, Amsterdam â 30 October 2026
- Budapest, Belgrade, Frankfurt, Munich, Copenhagen â 13 November 2026
- Abu Dhabi, Kuwait, Riyadh â 31 January 2027
Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis, so early submission is encouraged. We look forward to receiving your application!
