Join ExxonMobil as part of our Commercial Industrial Placement in Global Trading based in London. This program is designed for individuals who are eager to explore the dynamic world of energy markets and trading. As a participant, you will have the opportunity to work closely with experienced professionals and gain hands-on experience in a real trading environment.

What You Will Do

• Engage directly with front-line traders or the Trading Analytics team to perform market analysis for various commodities.
• Utilize both proprietary and third-party data to inform trading decisions.
• Support trading teams in areas such as risk management and crude oil optimization.
• Take on special projects that will enhance both business outcomes and your personal growth.
• Participate in a comprehensive induction program during your first month to build foundational trading skills.

About You

• You must be in the penultimate year of your degree program.
• You should expect to achieve a minimum of a 2:1 in any subject.
• You are looking for a 13-month paid Industrial Placement starting in July 2027.
• You must demonstrate strong attention to detail and possess analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
• You should have an interest in physical commodities and financial markets.
• You must be able to communicate effectively and work well in an international team environment.
• Leadership capabilities are also essential.

Conditions of Employment

Successful candidates will receive a conditional offer of employment, which includes satisfactory criminal records disclosure, employment references, verification of qualifications, completion of a pre-employment medical, and the legal right to work on the agreed commencement date.
