We are seeking an experienced Azure Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join a prominent technology client in Glasgow. This role involves working on a contract basis for a duration of 6 months, fully onsite, with a competitive daily rate ranging from £550 to £625, depending on your experience.
As an Azure SRE, you will be embedded within a major platform health workstream and will play a crucial role in supporting a financial services customer. Your responsibilities will include:
- Joining a significant platform health workstream as part of an Azure Site Reliability Engineering team.
- Utilizing extensive Azure engineering expertise to support the financial services customer.
- Implementing and managing SLO/SLI design and observability practices.
- Integrating cloud security measures within the Azure environment.
- Developing and maintaining integrations using Python and Terraform.
To be considered for this position, you should meet the following requirements:
- Proven experience in Azure engineering.
- Expertise in Terraform for infrastructure as code.
- Strong programming skills in Python for integrations and agent code.
- Experience with SLO/SLI design and observability.
- Knowledge of cloud security best practices.
