Join a dynamic audit team at RSM for a 12-month paid placement starting on 14 September 2027, designed for students enrolled in a sandwich degree program. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience while working alongside both trainees and seasoned audit professionals.

Your responsibilities will include becoming an integral part of the audit team from the outset, engaging in real client work, and conducting comprehensive, risk-focused reviews of financial records, processes, and controls. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy of financial statements, thereby fostering trust and confidence among stakeholders. The position involves working with a diverse array of clients, including owner-managed businesses, large listed groups, charities, pension schemes, and other not-for-profit organizations.

To be considered for this role, you should possess a minimum of 112 UCAS points across three A levels or an equivalent level 3 qualification. Alternatively, you can have 104 UCAS points across four Scottish Highers/Advanced Highers or an Irish Leaving Certificate (higher level). You must be enrolled in a placement degree program and have a permanent right to live and work in the UK. Strong written and verbal communication skills, analytical abilities, excellent interpersonal skills, and a genuine interest in business and commerce are essential. Additionally, you should be organized, manage your time effectively, and be willing to travel to client sites as needed.
