Role Overview

The Associate Dentist will be responsible for a range of dental care tasks, including examining patients, diagnosing health issues, and providing necessary treatments. The role also involves educating patients about oral hygiene and ensuring a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct examinations of patients’ teeth and gums to identify health issues.
• Perform X-rays and other diagnostic procedures.
• Administer dental treatments and develop health-based treatment plans.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices.
• Prescribe medications as necessary.
• Ensure a safe and healthy working environment.
• Engage in restorative and cosmetic dentistry as required.
• Consider opportunities for specialization in specific dental fields or skill sets.

Requirements

• Possess a valid dentistry degree.
• Currently registered or willing to register with the General Dental Council (GDC).
• Available to work either full-time or part-time.
• Demonstrate professional proficiency in English, both spoken and written, meeting the minimum standards set by the Home Office for international applicants.
• Open to undergoing NHS training if applicable.
• Ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and patients.
• Complete health checks as required by the company.
• Eligible applicants include EU dental associates with or without GDC registration, and worldwide dental associates with GDC registration or requiring VTE mentoring.
