Role Overview

The Associate Dentist will be responsible for a range of dental care activities, including:

• Conducting comprehensive examinations of patients’ teeth and gums to diagnose health issues.
• Performing X-rays to assist in accurate diagnosis.
• Providing dental treatments and creating health-focused treatment plans.
• Educating patients on effective oral hygiene practices.
• Prescribing necessary medications for dental health.
• Maintaining a safe and healthy working environment.
• Engaging in restorative and cosmetic dentistry as needed.
• Considering specialization opportunities in specific dental fields or skill sets.

Requirements

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Hold a valid dentistry degree from an accredited institution.
• Be currently registered or willing to register with the General Dental Council (GDC).
• Able to work on a full-time or part-time basis.
• Possess professional English language skills, both oral and written, in accordance with Home Office standards for international applicants.
• Be open to NHS training if relevant.
• Develop strong relationships with colleagues and patients.
• Complete health checks as required by the company.
• Eligible candidates include EU dental associates with a GDC number or those without GDC registration, provided their studies were completed in the EU, as well as worldwide dental associates with GDC registration or those needing VTE mentoring for one year.
