Role Overview

As an Associate Dentist, you will be responsible for examining patients’ dental health, diagnosing issues, and providing necessary treatments. You will also educate patients on oral hygiene and maintain a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct examinations of patients’ teeth and gums to diagnose dental health issues.
• Perform X-ray procedures as necessary.
• Administer dental treatments and develop health-based care plans for patients.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices.
• Prescribe medications as needed for dental health.
• Ensure a safe and healthy working environment is maintained.
• Engage in restorative and cosmetic dentistry as required.
• Consider opportunities for specialization in specific dental fields or skill sets.

Requirements

• Possess a valid dentistry degree.
• Be currently registered or willing to register with the General Dental Council (GDC).
• Available to work either full-time or part-time.
• Demonstrate professional proficiency in English, both spoken and written, meeting the minimum standards set by the Home Office for international applicants.
• Be open to NHS training if applicable.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with colleagues and patients.
• Complete health checks as mandated by the company.
• Eligible applicants include EU dental associates with a GDC number or those without registration, provided their studies were completed within the EU, as well as worldwide dental associates with GDC registration or those requiring VTE mentoring.
