    Q&A #44 – Where is ListBox in Windows Phone 8 SDK ?

    When developing Windows Phone 8 app , one would have noticed that the ListBox control is no longer shown in the toolbox of Visual Studio .

    Where is ListBox in Windows Phone 8 SDK ?

    The ListBox is actually deprecated and the LongListSelector is the preferred control for displaying flat list or grouped list and hence the ListBox is not shown in the toolbox of Visual Studio.
