Role Overview
The position is based in Great Baddow and is part of the Digital Intelligence team. You will engage in a 12-month industrial placement starting in June 2027, where you will develop skills essential for delivering innovative solutions that enhance global security.
Core Responsibilities
- Contribute to the full engineering lifecycle, collaborating with clients and managing all aspects of hardware design and manufacturing.
- Implement complex signal processing algorithms using VHDL.
- Design switch mode power supplies and work on low power embedded systems.
- Develop ruggedized devices suitable for challenging environments.
- Assist colleagues in presenting new ideas to clients.
- Manage multiple assignments independently while receiving support from team members.
- Conduct research, data collection, and analysis.
Qualifications
To qualify for this role, you must have achieved or be predicted to achieve at least a 2:2 in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Maths, or Physics. Additionally, all applicants must meet the Baseline Personnel Security Standard and may require higher levels of National Security Vetting based on residency in the UK.
