This position offers a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the Offset and Industrial Cooperation sectors within BAE Systems and the wider defense industry. As an Undergraduate Business Development intern, you will engage in various activities aimed at fostering strong customer relationships and understanding the objectives related to offset and Industrial Cooperation.

Role Responsibilities

• Develop an understanding of the Offset and Industrial Cooperation landscape within BAE Systems and the defense sector.
• Support the business in building robust customer relationships and provide insights into offset objectives.
• Influence campaign strategies and planning activities based on your insights.
• Assist in the development and promotion of Offset and Industrial Cooperation tools, training, and guidance.
• Drive awareness and understanding of Offset and Industrial Cooperation initiatives across the organization.
• Gain knowledge of key customer and regional offset regulatory environments and customer drivers.
• Help the business navigate Offset Policy and contribute to offset planning efforts.
• Build relationships with key stakeholders in the offset community to identify and develop offset opportunities.
• Facilitate the creation of offset guidance, tools, and training for the Group Offset Centre of Excellence.

Qualifications

• Applicants must be on track to achieve at least a 2:2 Bachelor’s degree or a pass at Master’s level in relevant fields such as Commercial, Business Development, Geopolitics, Supply Chain, Finance, or Governance.
• All candidates must meet the Baseline Personnel Security Standard and may require higher levels of National Security Vetting, which typically necessitates 5 to 10 years of continuous residency in the UK.
