Technology – Technology Operations – 2027 Summer Internship Program Overview

The Summer Internship Programme at BlackRock is an immersive eight-week experience designed for students, running from June to August. This program aims to provide a challenging and supportive environment that closely resembles the role of a full-time analyst at the firm.

The internship begins with an orientation that offers a detailed overview of BlackRock, including insights from senior leadership. Following this, interns will engage in on-the-job training and will be assigned daily responsibilities that contribute to their respective teams throughout the summer.

Interns will also have the opportunity to participate in a speaker series, receive mentoring, and engage in various networking activities, including events with employee networks. Successful interns may consider applying for the Full-Time Analyst Programme upon completion of their internship.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants should be in their penultimate year of study, with graduation expected in 2028. We welcome candidates from any academic background. It is important to note that fluency in the local language is required for positions in Continental Europe, while only English is necessary for roles in Budapest or Private Markets Investing in Zurich.

Applicants are limited to submitting one application for either the Summer Internship Programme or the Quantitative Master’s Internship Programme, and can apply for up to two functions within the chosen program. If an application is withdrawn, it cannot be resubmitted for the current year.

After submitting your application, you will receive an email prompting you to complete a pre-interview assessment, which must be submitted within five days to avoid automatic withdrawal of your application.
