As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you will leverage your technical expertise to lead intricate, multi-disciplinary projects from initiation to completion. Your role will involve collaborating with various stakeholders to outline requirements, assess risks, manage project timelines, and maintain clear communication with cross-functional partners throughout the organization.
You will work with teams responsible for physical assets, such as data centers and networks, to evaluate and recommend optimal infrastructure solutions that align with technical criteria, market conditions, and business objectives. Additionally, you will partner with internal teams, including cloud engineering, network, security, finance, and legal, as well as external planners and utility providers, to execute comprehensive infrastructure strategies.
Your responsibilities will also include analyzing global cloud market trends, such as hyperscale growth and hybrid/multi-cloud adoption, to inform strategic infrastructure decisions. You will translate complex technical requirements into actionable specifications for infrastructure planning and develop new products to meet future needs for Cloud and AI expansion.
To qualify for this role, you should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, along with at least 5 years of experience in data center or network infrastructure planning. You should have a strong background in evaluating technical cloud infrastructure requirements and a proven track record of driving cross-functional programs while influencing high-level executives.
In terms of compensation, the position offers a competitive salary between €118,000 and €120,000, along with a 15% bonus target and equity options. You will also receive a comprehensive benefits package that includes health and wellness programs.
This role is available in London, UK, or Dublin, Ireland, and is classified as hybrid, allowing for a mix of remote and onsite work. Please note that this position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
