In this role at Google, you will be part of the Trust and Safety team, dedicated to enhancing user safety and trust across the internet. This team collaborates with various departments to develop innovative solutions to combat issues like malware, spam, and account hijacking, ensuring the protection of users, advertisers, and publishers globally.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee project goals and deliverables, managing timelines and stakeholder expectations while effectively communicating plans and coordinating resources.
  • Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to identify work problems, program goals, and prioritize deliverables, discussing the impact of the program.
  • Conduct risk identification and assessment activities, creating mitigation plans and monitoring foreseeable risks that may affect project objectives.
  • Establish and track processes in partnership with stakeholders, ensuring accountability for adherence to established processes and alignment with compliance and privacy policies.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and support the adoption of these processes across teams.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • At least 7 years of experience in program or project management.
  • Minimum of 7 years managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
  • Preferred: Program Management certification.
  • Experience in program management within a technology company.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage and coordinate multiple large programs simultaneously, especially under changing requirements and external deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of crafting clear narratives for various communications, presentations, and reports.
  • Ability to tailor communications to effectively inform and influence diverse stakeholders.
