Wipro Limited is seeking a dynamic and visionary leader for the Supply Chain & Operations Consulting role, aimed at establishing and expanding the Global Capability Centre (GCC) consulting business in the UK and Europe. This leadership position is pivotal in helping clients conceptualize, design, and operationalize their GCCs or Global Business Services (GBS) organizations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a growth strategy for the GCC consulting business in Europe.
• Drive business development initiatives to expand Wipro’s consulting presence in the GCC/GBS advisory sector.
• Lead cross-functional teams to execute high-impact transformation projects for GCCs.
• Ensure high levels of client satisfaction, excellence in delivery, and achievement of measurable business results.
• Create transformation propositions that utilize digital technologies, automation, and AI solutions tailored for GCCs.
• Design innovative operating models and frameworks for GCCs that meet the changing needs of enterprises.
• Promote continuous improvement and innovation within client projects and internal initiatives.
• Build and manage a diverse consulting team dedicated to GCC/GBS strategy and transformation.
• Establish and execute a roadmap for developing capabilities within the GCC consulting practice.
• Mentor team members to foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
• Generate and share insights on GCC trends, operating models, and transformation strategies through published points of view.
• Represent Wipro at industry events and forums to enhance visibility and brand positioning as a trusted advisor in GCC transformation.
• Create and deliver unique GCC consulting services across various phases including strategy, design, setup, and optimization.
• Collaborate with Strategic Market Units and Global Business Lines to provide comprehensive solutions for clients’ GCC transformation needs.
• Advise clients on strategies for GCC setup, including location assessment, operating model design, governance, talent strategy, and digital enablement.
• Shape transformation programs that align GCC objectives with broader business goals to ensure measurable outcomes.
• Cultivate key partnerships with real estate, HR, technology, and infrastructure providers to support GCC setup and transformation.
• Conduct evaluations and due diligence on partners to ensure alignment with client requirements and Wipro’s strategic goals.
• Build knowledge networks and alliances to position Wipro as a leading advisor in the GCC/GBS consulting domain.

Requirements

• Proven experience in leading and expanding a GBS, Shared Services, or GCC consulting practice within a global consulting environment.
• Strong background in enterprise transformation, operating model design, and workforce strategy.
• Experience in consultative selling and developing client business cases for value-driven transformation programs.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills with clients, partners, and internal teams.
• Demonstrated ownership mindset with a track record of successful solution development and thought leadership.
• In-depth knowledge of GCC/GBS operating models, including strategy and design, people and organization, operations and infrastructure, and transformation and optimization.
• Global exposure with experience across various industries and geographies.
• Entrepreneurial spirit with a proactive attitude and a strong desire to develop and grow a new consulting practice.
• Ability to represent Wipro in public forums, media interactions, and thought leadership engagements.
• Capability to engage and influence senior business leaders and client executives effectively.
