As a participant, you will work towards a fully funded CIPS Level 4 Diploma in Procurement and Supply, equipping you with essential skills and knowledge for a successful career in supply chain management. Throughout the programme, you will rotate through various placements within EDF’s Nuclear business, including Hinkley Point C and Nuclear Operations, gaining insights into procurement, contract management, supplier relationships, and strategic sourcing.

Your experience will include:

  • Hands-on involvement in procurement and sourcing activities.
  • Contract management and administration tasks.
  • Supplier performance and relationship management.
  • Cost forecasting and commercial analysis.
  • Stakeholder engagement and collaboration.
  • Strategic supply chain planning and commercial decision-making.

Placement locations will primarily be at Hinkley Point C, Bristol, and Bridgwater, with opportunities for temporary relocations as needed. Most roles will require you to be onsite three to five days a week.

To qualify for this programme, you should have, or expect to achieve, a bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline such as Supply Chain and Logistics, Business Management, Economics, Mathematics, Finance, or Geography. Additionally, you must meet the criteria for Security Vetting, which generally requires UK residency for at least three of the last five years. A Virtual Assessment Centre is scheduled for November 5, 2026, and attendance is mandatory for consideration.
