The Strategy and Operations Lead for gSO Ads Central at Google plays a pivotal role in driving progress and solving complex problems within the organization. This position involves collaborating with senior leadership to shape the future of Google’s technical services and ensure the smooth operation of the Ads business.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a thought partner and trusted advisor to VPs and directors, helping to define and implement strategies for Google technical services.
- Lead global analyses and manage in-depth projects that support strategic initiatives.
- Collaborate across teams to execute on strategic recommendations effectively.
- Work with Google Technical Services Ads Strategy and Business Operations teams globally to provide insights and data perspectives.
- Identify opportunities to enhance gSO workflows by designing and implementing applied AI solutions to address operational bottlenecks.
- Plan and execute various initiatives aimed at improving efficiency for multiple executive stakeholders.
- Conduct operational business reviews and lead business planning in partnership with leadership.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience is required.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in SQL and developing practical AI solutions.
- Preferred qualifications include an MBA or Master’s degree, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with Python scripting, LLM APIs, prompting frameworks, or building customized AI agents/assistants is advantageous.
- Proficiency in structuring analyses and creating executive-level written and verbal communications, including visual presentations.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to design processes and implement strategic projects.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proven ability to execute complex strategic and operational initiatives.
