Responsibilities

• Serve as the main technical liaison for a significant financial services client, fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders such as CTOs, CDOs, and Data Architects.
• Design and implement comprehensive data governance frameworks that encompass data lineage, metadata management, access controls, and adherence to industry regulations like GDPR, CCPA, and BCBS 239.
• Develop and promote strategies for distributing data responsibilities across various business units and technical teams, facilitating decentralized data ownership while ensuring centralized oversight and consistency.
• Create and execute data capabilities that integrate seamlessly across on-premise systems and multiple cloud platforms, ensuring data portability, interoperability, and consistent access.
• Identify and fulfill data needs for emerging technologies, including real-time data streaming, vector databases, and secure data sharing for autonomous agents.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 7 years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience working with data platforms and technologies.
• Proven experience in designing and implementing data solutions for enterprise clients, particularly in the financial markets sector, utilizing hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
• Experience with data modeling and graph databases, such as RDF, property graphs, or other graph database technologies.

Benefits

• Competitive salary ranging from €148,000 to €152,000 (EUR) with a target bonus of 20% and equity options.
