The Business Operations Manager for Knowledge and Insights Strategy and Operations at Google plays a pivotal role in driving the transformation of the Partnerships Solutions team within Global Partnerships (GP). This position focuses on providing strategic insights and operational support to knowledge and insights partnerships (K&IP), ensuring that the team operates efficiently and effectively.

As a leader in business operations for K&IP EMEA, you will blend problem-solving skills with operational execution, collaborating closely with the partnership team and global counterparts. You will work directly with the Vice President for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) and other regional leads to advance projects, manage workflows, and deliver data-driven insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the execution of cross-functional projects and strategic initiatives, ensuring that timelines and key deliverables are achieved across various departments including Product, Engineering, Marketing, Finance, and Legal.
• Support operational excellence by managing essential business operations processes such as strategic planning, tracking objectives and key results (OKRs), and maintaining a consistent rhythm of business deliverables.
• Utilize data to conduct critical analyses, monitor business metrics, and assist in the development of data or AI tools aimed at enhancing team efficiency and generating insights.
• Identify and address challenges in business operations, recommending process improvements to boost team efficiency and foster collaboration across functions.
• Create clear, concise, and persuasive materials and narratives for internal stakeholders and leadership updates.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience is required.
• At least 4 years of experience in areas such as go-to-market strategy, sales operations, strategy and operations, management consulting, finance, or program management.
• Proven experience in core business operations, including annual business planning, headcount management, conducting business reviews, or target setting.
• Demonstrated experience in stakeholder management and data analysis, with the ability to generate data-driven insights that influence decision-making.
• Experience working with executive stakeholders is essential.
• Preferred qualifications include the ability to tailor and deliver impactful reports and presentations based on audience needs, ask strategic questions, and lead discussions that drive results and efficiencies.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and influencing without direct authority to achieve operational excellence and successful delivery of priority initiatives.
• Experience in a corporate environment, preferably in technology or related fields.
• Familiarity with investigative skills such as financial modeling, and proficiency in tools like Google Sheets, Python, SQL, and Looker to solve problems, influence business leadership, measure outcomes, and adapt recommendations based on results.
