This position offers an exciting opportunity for a Specialty Doctor in General Medicine and Care of the Elderly within the Aneurin Bevan University Health Board (ABUHB). Key Responsibilities

• Deliver effective medical care for inpatients, including acute assessments.
• Participate in acute medical and frailty assessments, and manage inpatient care.
• Engage in outpatient services and multidisciplinary meetings.
• Provide cover for colleagues during their annual and study leave, including on-call and daytime responsibilities.
• Supervise unqualified or junior staff and students to ensure quality patient care.
• Participate in audit and quality improvement projects, with opportunities for research collaboration with Cardiff University.
