An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Software Engineer to join a leading engineering organization based in Oxfordshire. This role involves developing advanced software platforms that enhance optimization, automation, and performance in complex industrial processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain software platforms to enhance industrial processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional agile teams to ensure effective project execution.
- Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, from user story creation to user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Address and solve complex technical challenges using innovative solutions.
Key Skills & Experience:
- A degree in a STEM field with a minimum classification of 2:1.
- Proven experience in full-stack development, particularly with C# and ASP.NET.
- Familiarity with modern front-end frameworks and technologies.
- Understanding of test-driven development (TDD), design patterns, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD).
- Experience working in agile environments and strong communication skills.
- A motivated problem solver with a keen interest in applied science.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience with React, TypeScript, Blazor, or GraphQL.
- Knowledge of C++ or Python.
- Experience with Docker and cloud deployment, particularly in Azure.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
