Project Manager Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join a leading engineering organization based in Retford, Nottinghamshire. This permanent position offers an exciting opportunity to manage bespoke projects and installations across the UK, with a combination of office-based and hybrid working arrangements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure the efficient delivery of high-quality projects while maintaining strong client relationships.
• Oversee project timelines, ensuring that all projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
• Create comprehensive project plans and monitor progress to meet key milestones.
• Lead and inspire project teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Identify potential risks and manage them effectively, ensuring compliance with Health & Safety regulations.
• Prepare accurate forecasts and reports, and manage the financial aspects of projects.

Key Skills & Experience:

• Proven leadership skills with the ability to communicate confidently.
• Experience in managing conflicts and maintaining professional relationships under pressure.
• Exceptional organizational skills with the capability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Strong commercial awareness and decision-making skills.
• Experience in managing Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) projects with multiple stakeholders.
• Familiarity with contract management, specifically NEC contracts.
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience is preferred.
• Willingness to travel across the UK, with a full UK driving license required.
• A background or interest in engineering or mechanical fields is advantageous.
