Senior Staff RMN Male PICU Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Staff Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to join our Male Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) at Priory Hospital Bristol. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional nursing care to patients, ensuring their mental and physical health needs are met.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Male PICU unit.
• Monitor and assess patients’ mental health and physical well-being.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards within the unit.
• Support and guide junior staff and nursing students in their professional development.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress and treatment strategies.

Requirements

• Must be a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with a valid NMC registration.
• Experience working in a psychiatric intensive care unit or similar environment is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and team members.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Commitment to providing high standards of care and promoting patient dignity.

This position is a permanent, full-time role based onsite at Priory Hospital Bristol, located at Heath House Lane, Stapleton, Bristol, BS16 1EQ. Please note that this role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
