Join Pigment, an innovative AI-powered business planning and performance management platform that connects people, data, and processes in a single, intuitive solution. We are seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to design and implement the infrastructure for our rapidly growing platform, which is used by industry leaders like Unilever and Siemens.
The Senior SRE will face technical challenges, including managing large datasets that require real-time updates. You will be responsible for defining and building scalable infrastructure, ensuring high availability, and monitoring performance while promoting best practices across the engineering team. Additionally, you will participate in incident response and support our geographical expansion as we grow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement infrastructure to meet performance challenges and ensure scalability.
- Automate infrastructure processes to adapt to platform usage.
- Maintain high availability and redundancy for the Pigment platform.
- Monitor platform performance and correctness, promoting observability best practices.
- Participate in incident response efforts.
- Support geographical expansion by adapting infrastructure.
- Collaborate with the security team on infrastructure and development pipeline initiatives.
- Identify and improve inefficiencies in development practices.
- Contribute to software development activities and collaborate with software engineers.
Who You Are:
- Experienced in software engineering with a background in DevOps or SRE.
- Familiar with container orchestration platforms, especially Kubernetes.
- Experienced with public cloud providers, preferably GCP.
- Proficient in programming languages such as C#, Java, C++, Golang, Rust, JavaScript, Python, or Ruby.
- Experienced with observability tools like Datadog, Prometheus, ELK, or Jaeger.
- Possess strong team spirit and problem-solving skills.
- Willing to learn and grow, regardless of your current level of experience.
- Fluent in English.
