Senior Night Nurse Overview

We are seeking dedicated Senior Night Nurses to join our esteemed clinical team at Amberwood House in Ferndown, Dorset. This role is integral to our senior decision-making process and offers a chance to work in a luxurious care home environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the nursing shift and allocate duties to other nursing staff and care team members.
• Build strong relationships with residents to positively impact their health and wellbeing.
• Support and supervise student nurses and Trainee Nurse Associates as a practice assessor/supervisor.
• Promote best practices in clinical interventions such as wound management, nutrition, tissue viability, and end-of-life care.
• Collaborate with fellow nurses, Senior Care Leads, and local multi-disciplinary teams, ensuring 24/7 on-call support is available.

Requirements

• Possess excellent clinical knowledge and sound judgment.
• Demonstrate strong communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude.
• Be a team player with attention to detail and a sense of fun.
• Have experience in leading clinical practices and role modeling best practices.
