About the Role

In this leadership position, you will be responsible for building and scaling a team of Analysts and Data Scientists within the Product Data Science organization. Your focus will be on delivering impactful analytics while elevating the overall analytical standards across multiple product areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Product Analysts and Data Scientists, ensuring high performance and ownership of their impact.
• Drive goal-setting and execution processes, applying leadership to OKRs and strategic objectives.
• Enhance the quality of analytics and data science applications, ensuring outputs are actionable.
• Review and shape high-impact analytical work and advanced modeling approaches.
• Collaborate with senior leaders to define priorities and integrate data science into decision-making.
• Translate business challenges into structured analytical problems, guiding the team to deliver recommendations.
• Promote scalable analytical frameworks and AI-enabled tools for efficient decision-making.
• Champion best practices in experimentation and statistical analysis.
• Build partnerships with Data Platform and Data Engineering teams to leverage shared capabilities.
• Enhance team capabilities through hiring, coaching, and performance management.
• Identify and remove barriers to high-quality analytics delivery.
• Influence stakeholders across product domains for clarity and decision-making.

Skills & Experience

• Extensive experience in data science or a similar quantitative role.
• Expertise in Python and SQL, with hands-on experience in statistical modeling and machine learning techniques.
• Ability to define and implement product metrics from scratch.
• Proven track record of driving strategic impact through collaboration.
• Experience in scaling analytics capabilities and creating automated processes.
• Strong critical thinking skills for sound judgment formation.
• Outstanding leadership skills with experience in mentoring teams.
• Exceptional collaboration and communication abilities.
• Proven ability to build relationships across functions.
• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field.
