This position offers a chance to join Deloitte’s M&A Transaction Services team, where you will engage in high-profile projects involving both corporate and private equity transactions. The role is set within a dynamic, client-focused environment, providing services such as acquisition and vendor financial due diligence, bid defense, and reporting accountant services for capital market transactions.

Our team collaborates with a wide array of specialists across the firm, including those in commercial and operational due diligence, sale and purchase agreement negotiations, real estate, treasury, pensions, and IT. You will also have the opportunity to work on international assignments, requiring collaboration with cross-border teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Rapidly gain insight into the target business and its operational drivers.
• Analyze information memoranda, business plans, and publicly available data regarding the target business.
• Conduct reviews of historical trading, cash flow, and balance sheets.
• Evaluate projections and the assumptions that underpin them.
• Assess the adequacy of working capital facilities, including financing limits, terms, and covenants.
• Identify and report potential key issues for clients, including risks or considerations that may affect pricing.
• Review sale and purchase agreements and align findings from the due diligence process.
• Examine financial structures and related credit agreements.
• Collaborate effectively within diverse teams, fostering an inclusive culture that recognizes individual contributions.

Essential Qualifications

• Possession of an ACA qualification or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrated experience in M&A transactions, financial due diligence, or substantial knowledge of the Technology, Media, and Telecommunications (TMT) sector.
• Strong report writing and review capabilities, emphasizing detail, conciseness, and risk management.
• Exceptional academic credentials or equivalent professional experience.
• Proficient problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Experience engaging with senior-level stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• A keen interest in the Consumer Industry.

Desirable Skills

• Exposure to financial due diligence and/or transaction services.
• Fluency in a major European foreign language would be an advantage.
• Strong Excel skills for data manipulation.
• Strong commercial acumen and market awareness.
• Client-focused approach, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
