Join our team as a Senior Infrastructure Automation Tools Engineer, where you will play a crucial role in shaping the automation platforms that support our hybrid infrastructure and compute environments. In this position, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining automation frameworks that enhance the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of our systems.
Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain automation frameworks to improve infrastructure reliability, scalability, and efficiency.
- Develop and maintain automation solutions using Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Python, Bash, and configuration management tools.
- Integrate automation into Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to enhance deployment efficiency.
- Investigate infrastructure issues, identify root causes, and implement automated fixes to support service reliability and stability.
- Create clear documentation for tools, processes, and operating procedures.
- Participate in an on-call rotation to maintain system availability and restore services during incidents.
- Review new tools and technologies, recommending practical improvements for automation services.
Required Skills and Experience
- A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Hands-on experience with infrastructure automation and configuration management tools in production environments.
- Knowledge of Terraform and experience managing large-scale Linux environments.
- Experience in building or supporting CI/CD pipelines and applying DevOps practices.
- Proficiency in Python, Bash, or similar scripting languages for automating operational tasks.
- Experience in hybrid environments, including on-premises and cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.

- Experience supporting large-scale or multi-cluster environments across various locations.
- Exposure to Ansible and AI-enabled tools like Codex for software development and automation.
- Relevant technical certifications or experience in Agile or Scrum teams.
