In this position, you will be tasked with delivering cybersecurity consulting services to clients, focusing on both technical and process-oriented controls across diverse environments. Your role will involve executing Red and Purple team assessments, which simulate cyber attacks against client organizations, as well as conducting various technical cyber assessments such as external engagements and security testing for web applications, mobile, and wireless systems.
You will also play a crucial role in enhancing the team’s capabilities by creating tools, researching offensive techniques, and incorporating threat actor intelligence into your work. Your responsibilities will include developing comprehensive reports and presentations tailored for both technical and executive audiences, acting as a trusted advisor to C-level executives and security leaders.
Additionally, you will assist in scoping prospective engagements and lead teams through the entire process from kickoff to remediation, while also mentoring junior staff members to help them grow in their roles.
Responsibilities
- Provide cybersecurity consulting services and support to clients, focusing on both technical and process-based controls across various environments.
- Conduct Red and Purple team assessments, simulating cyber attacks against client organizations.
- Perform technical cyber assessments, including external engagement, web application, mobile, and wireless security testing.
- Enhance team capabilities through the creation of tools, research on offensive techniques, and integration of threat actor intelligence.
- Prepare detailed and accurate reports and presentations for both technical and executive audiences.
- Act as a trusted advisor to C-level executives and security leaders within client organizations.
- Assist in scoping prospective engagements and lead teams from the kickoff through the remediation phase.
- Mentor junior staff members and help them develop their skills.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 3 years of experience in assessing and developing cybersecurity solutions across various security domains.
- Proficiency in four or more areas such as network protocols, threat intelligence analysis, system and network administration, project management, application development, technical incident response processes, source code review, or reverse engineering.
- Experience with operating system security, particularly in Linux or similar environments.
- Background in offensive security practices.
