A fast-growing, technology-driven organization is looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer to join its collaborative engineering team in Warrington, Cheshire. This permanent position is ideal for an individual who possesses a strong technical skill set along with maturity and a sense of ownership. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for driving projects from inception to completion, influencing technical direction, and mentoring other team members while continuing to enhance your own skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain full-stack applications utilizing Java, React, and TypeScript.
- Create scalable, cloud-native solutions using AWS.
- Take full ownership of features and components from the design phase through to deployment.
- Serve as a primary technical contact for design, architecture, and implementation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address technical and business challenges.
- Contribute innovative ideas, engage in code reviews, and support ongoing improvements.
Essential Skills and Experience
- Significant commercial experience with Java and the Spring Framework.
- Strong skills in frontend development with React and TypeScript.
- Familiarity with AWS and the development of cloud-native applications.
- Understanding of RESTful APIs, Git, and best practices for clean code.
- A proactive, self-motivated attitude with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to take initiative, work independently, and provide guidance to others when necessary.
Desirable Skills
- A degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Experience in regulated sectors such as financial services, insurance, or energy.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools.
- Interest in system design, architecture, or security.
