Project Manager Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join a prominent utilities company in Brighton, East Sussex, as they embark on a significant infrastructure program within the water industry. This role is part of a nationally important project valued at over £1 billion.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the execution of your designated workstream package, focusing on planning, risk management, and governance.
• Assist in the formulation of commercial models and procurement strategies, including the design of tenders exceeding £1 billion.
• Coordinate efforts among cross-functional teams, including engineering, finance, procurement, and legal departments.
• Manage relationships with stakeholders, which include internal teams, suppliers, regulators, and other industry organizations.
• Ensure the provision of high-quality project information, performance reports, and financial forecasts.

Requirements

• Proven experience in Project Management within engineering, construction, or infrastructure sectors.
• Experience managing large-scale projects with significant budgets.
• Familiarity with working in regulated environments or large organizations with multiple stakeholders.
• Knowledge of engineering contracts and planning consent processes is advantageous.
