As part of the Digital Engineering team, you will work in agile, cross-functional teams to address issues such as sustainable energy transition, government digitization, and digital healthcare improvements.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of the design, development, and delivery of full-stack products, ensuring a seamless integration from user interfaces to backend databases.
- Create and maintain responsive, high-quality user interfaces utilizing modern frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.
- Design and implement secure, reliable, and maintainable APIs and services.
- Collaborate closely with product teams to comprehend complex business requirements and convert them into technical solutions.
- Present completed features and technical solutions to stakeholders and clients with confidence.
- Conduct thorough peer code reviews, offering constructive feedback to uphold high engineering standards.
- Lead and support non-functional improvements, focusing on reducing technical debt, optimizing performance, and creating clear API documentation.
- Mentor junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and engineering excellence.
Skills and Attributes for Success
- Demonstrated professional experience in full-stack development with increasing responsibilities.
- Proficient in JavaScript or TypeScript and modern front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.
- Strong backend development skills using technologies like Node.js, Java, Python, or .NET.
- Proven experience in designing and building scalable APIs and distributed systems.
- Solid understanding of relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
- Familiarity with testing frameworks and strategies for unit, integration, and automated testing.
- Strong grasp of software development best practices, system design, maintainability, and code quality.
- Experience working in agile, cross-functional teams and contributing to delivery planning and estimation.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP, as well as CI/CD pipelines or DevOps practices is advantageous.
- Exposure to NoSQL databases, microservices, or event-driven architectures is a plus.
