Senior Care Assistant Overview

As a Senior Care Assistant at HC-One, you will embody kindness in every aspect of your role, which is crucial in our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. You will have the opportunity to provide meaningful care that enhances the lives of our residents, ensuring they feel secure, dignified, and independent.

Your responsibilities will include leading a team of Care Assistants, planning and implementing personalized care plans, and maintaining the highest standards of care. You will assist the Registered Nurse and Care Manager in providing essential physical and mental stimulation through various activities, as well as administering medication and keeping accurate records of care provided. Building strong relationships with residents and their families is key to delivering exceptional care.

To be successful in this role, you should ideally have a Level 2 Diploma S/NVQ in Adult Social Care and be willing to work towards a Level 3 qualification. Experience in person-centered care planning and knowledge of dementia care is beneficial. A positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, and effective time management are essential.
