An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Band 5 Rotational Physiotherapist to join the acute and community teams at Homerton Healthcare. This position is ideal for both newly qualified and experienced Band 5 Physiotherapists looking to gain valuable experience through a diverse and friendly rotation program across health and social care service providers in City and Hackney.

The rotations will cover various areas including elderly care, surgical rehabilitation, acute rehabilitation, respiratory management, acute stroke, neurological rehabilitation, outpatient services, rapid response admissions, community rehabilitation, and community pediatrics. Each rotation lasts six months, allowing for comprehensive clinical and systems learning. Successful candidates will receive support from senior staff and have access to numerous in-house training opportunities, along with regular clinical supervision.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Participating in rotations across various departments.
  • Engaging in a six-month rotation program.
  • Providing treatment and support to patients.

  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

To qualify for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Degree or Diploma in Physiotherapy.
  • Current registration with the HCPC.
  • Ability to assess and implement treatment plans.
  • Broad undergraduate experience in healthcare settings.
  • Understanding of multicultural society and confidentiality.
  • Professional demeanor aligned with Trust values.
