This position offers an exciting opportunity for a Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join the Community Paediatric Occupational Therapy Team at Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust. The role focuses on delivering universal, targeted, and specialist interventions for children with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) in mainstream educational settings.

As a Band 6 Paediatric Occupational Therapist, you will manage your own complex caseload, utilizing your specialized clinical skills to provide assessments, interventions, and coaching to families, educational staff, and other professionals. You will also play a key role in supporting and training team members, supervising students and therapy assistants, and contributing to service development through evidence-based, multi-agency projects.

Collaboration is essential in this role, as you will work closely with colleagues from various disciplines, including Speech and Language Therapy and Physiotherapy, as well as health, education, and social care professionals. You will ensure a successful multidisciplinary approach to care, providing universal and targeted advice in line with the SEND Code of Practice.

In addition to clinical duties, you will be responsible for non-clinical tasks such as service improvement initiatives and resource development, requiring strong organizational and communication skills.
