As a Research Engineer, you will bridge the gap between research and practical implementation, contributing to significant projects that leverage machine learning and quantum computing.
Responsibilities
- Take full ownership of complex research and engineering projects, focusing on the implementation and scaling of machine learning solutions that intersect with quantum computing.
- Translate classical and quantum algorithms into efficient and sustainable code, ensuring a balance between implementation time and design simplicity.
- Promote effective communication between research and engineering teams by advocating for code readability and engineering best practices, while also producing comprehensive design documentation.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in machine learning, engineering, and software development, particularly using Python.
- Familiarity with data structures and algorithms in either academic or industry contexts.
- A PhD in a relevant scientific or computational discipline is preferred.
- Experience with modern machine learning paradigms such as diffusion models, transformers, and agentic tools, as well as knowledge of quantum computing concepts.
