RAM NA 2028 Summer Internship Overview

This internship program offers a unique opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience in asset management with Rothesay Asset Management North America (RAM NA). The program is designed for full-time students pursuing degrees in finance, business, or economics, specifically targeting those in the Class of 2029, although graduate and master’s students may also apply.

The internship will commence on June 5, 2028, and conclude on August 4, 2028, with a competitive compensation rate of $65 per hour. Interns will work closely with the investment team, engaging in a variety of tasks that include preparing pitchbooks, conducting spreadsheet analytics, reviewing term sheets, and performing qualitative analysis. Throughout the program, interns will also have the chance to propose and present a trade idea to the investment team.

The internship consists of a 9-week rotational program that begins with a fundamentals week, providing insights into Rothesay and the financial services sector through training sessions led by industry experts. Interns will receive both technical and soft skills training, covering essential topics such as Bloomberg, financial modeling, compliance, and ESG. This structure allows interns to gain exposure to various asset classes, including Public Finance, US Residential Mortgages, Commercial Real Estate, Infrastructure and Power, US Private Placements, Liquid Corporate Credit, and Short-Dated Assets.
