Join the TikTok Data Center Development team, which is dedicated to building data centers and networks across Europe. This role is crucial for implementing innovative technologies and renewable energy solutions aimed at achieving carbon neutrality while ensuring rapid project delivery and effective capacity planning.
The Project Manager will be based in London and will manage projects throughout Europe, with additional responsibilities for supporting data center operations in Brazil. This will involve regular coordination with local vendors, contractors, and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the complete delivery process of data center standardization projects, from initiation and planning to implementation, tracking, and closure.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, dependencies, and deliverables.
- Establish and enforce clear project governance, defining roles and responsibilities, reporting structures, and escalation procedures.
- Manage project scope and implement change control processes to ensure alignment with established objectives and priorities.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Project Management, or a related technical discipline, along with relevant work experience.
- Proven experience in managing projects that involve cross-functional teams or multiple teams.
- Demonstrated experience in standardization, process improvement, operational excellence, or managing multi-site/multi-region programs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in network infrastructure, particularly in CDN or telecom-related project management.
- Experience in data center delivery, whether through self-built projects or colocation initiatives.
