Project Manager Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager (M&E) to join a prominent engineering organization located in Retford, Nottinghamshire. This position offers an exciting opportunity to manage customized projects and installations throughout the UK, with a combination of office-based and hybrid working arrangements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the successful delivery of high-quality projects while maintaining strong client relationships.
• Ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and to a professional standard.
• Travel to various sites and client meetings across the UK, with occasional international travel to Europe.
• Develop detailed project plans and monitor progress to meet established milestones.
• Lead and inspire project teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Identify and manage potential risks, ensuring compliance with Health & Safety regulations.
• Prepare accurate forecasts and reports, and manage project cash flow effectively.

• Proven leadership skills with the ability to communicate confidently.
• Capability to resolve conflicts and maintain professional relationships under pressure.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Commercial awareness and sound decision-making skills.
• Experience in managing M&E projects with multiple stakeholders.
• Familiarity with contract management, specifically NEC contracts.
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience is preferred.
• Willingness to travel across the UK; a full UK driving license is required.
• Interest or background in engineering or mechanical fields is advantageous.
• Relevant project management or engineering qualifications, such as PRINCE2, are desirable.
